Will it fit my tub?

Check four measurements before ordering: (A) Rim height from floor to outside tub edge — must be 18" or less. (B) Tub floor clearance (rim height minus interior depth) — 4" or less. (C) Clearance from tub edge to the nearest wall or door — at least 21". (D) Interior floor length at the tub bottom — at least 22". Works with standard alcove tubs and freestanding tubs with rims under 18". Not compatible with clawfoot or deep soaking tubs.

Is this suitable for someone recovering from surgery?

Yes, many customers use it during a recovery period. Since it doesn't require permanent installation, it can be set up when needed and removed once it's no longer necessary.

Will it slide on wet tile?

The four 4-inch suction feet are designed to grip smooth tub surfaces. For the legs that sit outside the tub on tile, press each foot down firmly until it seats, and wipe the floor dry before setup. On heavily textured tile, adding a rubber bath mat under the outer feet gives extra grip.

Is it safe to use without someone else nearby?

Many customers use it independently once they're familiar with the transfer motion. If it's your first few times, having someone nearby while you get used to sitting down and swinging your legs over can add confidence during that adjustment period.

Can I use it inside a shower stall instead of a tub?

Yes. Beyond bridging a tub wall, the bench works as a standalone shower seat inside walk-in shower stalls — same stability, same drainage design, same adjustable height.
